Our cosmetology training will give you the skills and additional experience needed to master your craft. We make it easy for you to learn everything that you need to know in this career. We offer online and in-person learning options year around. Our curriculum is comprehensive, and it covers the essentials of Hair Care as well as the products and procedures that you need to help your client’s hair. You will learn about hair treatment procedures and professional styling techniques. You will also learn about salon management and health and safety practices in the industry.

For online class enrollment, students are required by the state of Virginia to have a job in a salon that is recognized by the DPOR apprenticeship program. We also offer apprenticeship opportunities within our salon. Proof of this is required prior to enrollment.


HH Cosmetology Institute also provides year-round classes that active online students can participate in at His or Hers Salon and Spa. Certain classes may require an additional charge, which will be discussed prior. At the end of your course, you may opt in to have a state board class to prep you for your exam for an additional $150.00.
